Dawson's hair

When Dawson's hair gets wet it gets curly. This particular day after his bath it was especially curly. And just a side note, hair product is not put in his hair to make it like this....but I'm tempted to try moose or something to keep it looking curly. I LIKE IT!!!

Dawson, all about the stairs

Dawson loves going up the stairs. The only problem is, he doesn't know how to come down without getting hurt. We have invested in a gate so now he can only go up the stairs with supervision.

Thursday....long day

The kids were all home with me on Thursday and Jaden and Owen were NOT getting along. Finally I sent Owen to his room and Jaden went missing, until I located him here on the floor by the side of the couch asleep. Owen fell asleep, Dawson was down for his nap, and Jaden was asleep. Ahhhhhhh, peace and quiet. No I didn't nap, clean, or watch t.v. Spent a few hours on the ipad.

Sports Camp

Last week Jaden went to an off track sports camp and got hit by a hola hoop. OUCH!!

Dawson's teething

Poor little guy has been teething the last couple of days and he has been sooooo miserable. I hope his bottom teeth come up soon. Hate to see him to sad.

Easter

Painting the eggs. Made the kids take off their shirts. Didn't want the shirt ruined by the dye.

On Easter morning Owen wakes up and asks if he can wear his pajama's outside while he finds Easter eggs. We had an Easter egg hunt last week outside at the church and he thought the Easter bunny hid the eggs outside for him to find around our house. This picture is Owen looking out the window from the Master bedroom looking for Easter eggs..... prior to finding out that the Easter bunny only hid them inside the house, downstairs. The Easter Bunny left Real Soccer tickets, root beer, jelly beans, i-tunes card, gomu erasers, and Mess Free color wonders in their Easter baskets.

Owen was upset that the Easter Bunny didn't bring him the dvd, Tangled. My response to that was, "It's probably because you were a no, no, boy." He said, "No, the Easter bunny lives in a tree house that doesn't have windows." And then he says, "Oh he didn't bring it to me because the case was too big and wouldn't fit in my basket."

Dawson's leaps and bounds

Dawson is now crawling up the stairs, weighs 17 pounds, says mama, smiles and giggles a lot, loves to take baths, prefers our food over baby food, his hair is curly when wet, and drinks around 4-5 oz each feeding. I stopped nursing last month and I have decided that I don't like the price of formula.

Dawson's illness

Dawson was admitted into the hospital on Thursday and discharged on Saturday. He caught the Rhino Virus AGAIN. He's doing better and this time the doctor sent us home with an inhaler for when he's starts having trouble breathing.
